7 Qualifications of Resume Writers

In today’s employment trend, competition has become very stiff for resume writers. With the onslaught of the U.S. financial bubble, many sought out a single slot for a resume writing job like a pride of lions hunting for a piece of deer meat.

So what makes a resume writer stand out among the rest? Here’s a list of qualifications employers are much keen about:

1. Experience is king. Resume writers must have years of experience about the job or relevant to the job. Ideally, those who had demonstrable writing experiences are likely to be considered.

2. English proficiency. If experience is king, aptitude for the English language is the queen. It is a very important basis by which employers use on their recruitment decision. Since resume writers make resumes for reading, they must have excellent grammatical skills.
